How are the bristles sourced?
Our bristles come from the food industry — they're a by product that would otherwise go to waste. No animals are harmed specifically for bristles.

How are the bristles sterilised?
Every bristle is scoured, washed, and steam-sterilised at 100°C for 6 hours. They arrive sterile, odourless, and ready to use straight out of the box.
Are these suitable for children?
Yes. The head is sized smaller to fit little mouths, making it easy for children to manoeuvre. As with any toothbrush, we recommend adult supervision for younger children and that kids brush under guidance until they're confident on their own.
What are the different colours for?
Each brush comes in its own colour so everyone in the family knows whose is whose — no more mix-ups in the bathroom. Perfect for households with kids.
Are the bristles too firm for kids?
Boar bristles start firm and soften after a few uses. For children, we recommend running the head under warm water before the first few brushes to soften the bristles faster. The naturally tapered tips are gentler on gums than machine-cut nylon. If your child prefers a softer feel, soaking in warm water before each brush helps.
Is it safe if my child swallows a loose bristle?
A few loose bristles in the first week are normal and nothing to worry about. Boar bristle is natural keratin — the same protein as human hair — and is sterilised before use. That said, always supervise young children while brushing, as you would with any toothbrush.
