Our bristles come from the food industry — they're a by product that would otherwise go to waste. No animals are harmed specifically for bristles.

How are the bristles sterilised?
Every bristle is scoured, washed, and steam-sterilised at 100°C for 6 hours. They arrive sterile, odourless, and ready to use straight out of the box.

The body’s made from BPA-free recycled plastic and finished in real bamboo veneer — because we’d rather give old plastic a second life than pretend an electric brush can be 100% bamboo. While animal hair bristles aren’t for everyone, from the research we’ve done, boar hair and bamboo are the best combination for an effective, low-plastic brush.
